Echo Hills Bible Bowl 2009 Team and Coaches
|
Bible Bowl has become an integral part of our REACH program at Echo Hills. Each year, our teams get better and 2009 is no exception. Over 20 of our kids participated all summer in special classes on this year's topic: The Gospel of John. Jeff Brake headed up our effort once again this year along with several great coaches and teachers. Our teams scored an average of 70 out of 100, which is our best effort yet. Kacey Senn was our high scoring Young Achiever with a score of 79.
Courtney Senn was our overall high scorer with a 91 and
Dominique Allen was our second highest with a 90. We are so proud of all of our Bible Bowl participants and look forward to next year. For pictures of this event click

REACH Roundup: A Wild West VBS
by Dave Senn, REACH Director

REACH Roundup, this year's VBS, was a rootin' tootin' good time for all who participated. We averaged around 50-60 kids for each of the three sessions. Some of the highlights of our VBS were: panning for gold on a real sluice, The Adventures of Sheriff Chef and Pinto, great Bible lessons and skits, "The Lord's Army. . . Indian Version", fun crafts, and our awesome scenery and decorations (with special thanks to Eddie Phillips and the Goodlettsville congregation).
The kids and adults seemed to really enjoy the VBS being condensed into one weekend packed with fun and learning. For more pictures of the VBS click here.
